CheckOps is a technical monitoring platform built for SREs, CTOs, and demanding engineering teams. While basic uptime tools answer “is my site up?”, CheckOps answers “what is really happening on my infrastructure?”.

ARCHITECTURE OVERVIEW

CheckOps follows a BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) + Platform API architecture:

Browser (SvelteKit SSR)
  → BFF API (Hono) — session, plan verification, UI logic
    → Platform API
      ├── Uptime API — monitors, checks, latency
      └── CheckOps Toolbox — CVE, API checks, traces, NIS2, DNS

The BFF handles authentication (Keycloak), Stripe billing, and organization management. All monitoring logic and advanced tooling lives in the Platform API and CheckOps Toolbox services.
